About Us.

Alethinos Books was created by Mark Strauss and Glen Scorgie in 2006 as a "shell" publisher to quickly get the book Truth & Error In the Da Vinci Code (2006) to press. The movie The Da Vinci Code was coming out shortly, and individuals, ministries and churches were asking for information.

After this publishing endeavor, we retained the Alethinos name in order to publish the works of Bethel Seminary San Diego professors, primarily for classroom use.  Five books have been published under the Alethinos Books, although one of the five, Mongolian Proverbs, by Janice Raymond, has now been republished with another publisher.
